My Song

We have the inevitable challenge of DNA that pulls us to selfishness, opinions that we thrust into the soil as stakes, inclinations and preferences that tug us one way or another.  And, we have the potential of mind and spirit and heart to do heroic things and give ourselves to the well-being of others.  Which will be the prominent feature lived out today?  What kind of song will come from my life?  I get to choose.
